I had a very exciting job on a Monday; the “story” of Mary and Norbi could even be edifying. I uploaded some pictures that you’ll be able to see large in my gallery.
(Click on the first picture!)
If you’d like to read about the story, maybe because you’re interested in it seeing the pictures, come back later, and soon Mary herself will tell us the details.

“I could call it fate’s irony the way we met with Zoltán Redl-Nagy, a great professional who became our favorite photographer. I’d call to everyone’s attention not to make the same mistake that we’ve done – not entirely on purpose.
Dear Brides! Because we are the ones who bear the brunt of organizing the wedding, aren’t we? Our high demands have to be fulfilled, such as a marvelous location, finest wedding dishes, yet fair prizes, a professional stylist, hairdresser, make-up, choosing the dress, a band, etc. If you’re now reading this, you’ve probably seen some of the galleries of this artist photographer.
As I’ve already said, or warned you not to make the same basic mistake as a couple keenly organizing their wedding. I made the bad move when I’ve reached that point of the organizing when the only thing I had to look for was a wedding photographer and a cameraman. I googled “wedding photographer” (in Hungarian “esküvői fotós”), and this site was among the first ones I got, and already back then I was amazed. To the perfect wedding of my dreams I only needed to find the perfect professional who’ll make marvelous pictures, and I actually found him, it was Zoltán, BUT – and then I really made a mistake with allowing myself to be convinced to hire someone else, an ex-colleague who, who bought a higher-quality camera and video camera, advertized himself as a wedding photographer. Well, this guy offered us to do this part of the wedding and we not knowing anything, were glad to get a cheap offer, knowing how expensive a wedding could be…
You want to hear the rest?
When we got the pictures after the wedding I felt happy and sad at the same time. Happy because I could recall the beautiful moments of the wedding looking at the pictures; sad, because the set pictures weren’t the ones a bride would dream of. Those were photos made with a professional camera, but were absolutely unprofessional. No one would show it 20 years after the ceremony saying to their grandchildren that “Look how pretty your granny was!”
And the solution?
The day after the wedding we phoned Zoltán, and agreed on an appointment to the tune of some pictures. It was fantastic to dress up again, call the hairdresser, stroll in the city already as a wife, but in the white dress and to stand in front of the camera.
Yes, he knew what he was doing, knew how to control us, from what angle can he make marvelous pictures depending on the lights. Working with him was fantastic; it made us relaxed that he knows the ropes. There was only one thing that was greater than working with him and that was the prosperous result of his work. I don’t think I can be photographed well, but on those pictures I saw myself and my husband as models. Subsequently we were sorry that we didn’t stick to our original plan to ask Zoltán for our wedding.
Now we understand what it means, when someone says “If only I could turn back time.”
I could only emphasize to everyone the old saying that goes like “there’s no such thing as friendship in business.”
A job well-done calls for a professional! I can only recommend Zoltán Redl-Nagy to everyone!”
